Hojin was born in Korea. He received his BS degree in chemical engineering in Hanyang University in Korea. He moved to the US and received his PhD degree in Chemical Engineering in University of Delaware. In 2021, he joined the Rowan group and the Jaeger group as a postdoctoral researcher.
Hojin is currently working on designing programmable suspensions with dynamics bonding.
