Nanetta received her BS in chemistry/materials science from UCLA in 2016. As an undergraduate, she studied graphene membranes with Professor Richard Kaner and nanoparticle toxicology with Professor Andre Nel. Following graduation, she worked on materials engineering at Proteus Digital Health and Terapore Technologies before coming to Chicago in 2017 to pursue a PhD in chemistry.
