Nick was born and raised in Carmel, Indiana. He received a BS in materials science and engineering from Purdue University in May of 2018. His undergraduate research was focused on characterization of polymer hydrogels in aluminum ion solutions under the guidance of Professor Kendra Erk. He had two internships at 3M in the Twin Cities focusing on MicroCT data analysis and rheological characterization development for pressure sensitive adhesives. He joined the Rowan Group and the Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering in the fall of 2018.
