Rachel Gleyzer

Rachel is an undergraduate student from New Jersey, double majoring in biological sciences and economics. In high school, Rachel conducted research on generating targeted viral vectors for therapeutic gene delivery. In college, Rachel became interested in the bioengineering approaches to immunology being developed in the Swartz Lab and joined the Swartz Group in October 2016.

Rachel’s research at the Swartz Lab focuses on creating physiologically relevant 3-D in vitro models of the lung and studying the immunomodulatory role of lymphatics in chronic airway inflammation.
