Christina is a member of the class of 2020 from New York City. She is double majoring in chemistry and fundamentals issues and texts as a premedical student. When she isn’t taking her classes, researching, or volunteering at the hospital, Christina likes to sing in her a cappella group, swing dance, and take her dog for walks. She hopes to pursue either and MD or an MDPhD after she graduates.
Christina's spirit bird is the Royal Albatross (Diomedea epomophora).
Christina’s research primarily concerns facilitating disulfide exchanges in cross-linked polymer networks. From tracking materials to facilitating disulfide exchanges, everything Christina does seems to work its way back to the use of dyes.
