Natsumi was born and raised in Japan. She received her B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Chemistry from Hiroshima University under Professor Haino. In April 2023, she joined Professor Stuart Roan's group as a postdoctoral researcher. There, she will work on novel functional materials based on interlocking polymers.
